McQueen Funeral Services is owned and operated by Iain and Christina McQueen.
The company began on 1 July 1997 when they bought the existing business of JO and J Adams. It is located at 52 Main Street, Minlaton on Yorke Peninsula.
Iain commenced his career in the funeral industry in New Zealand 1984 and worked there for three years before moving to Melbourne and then Perth, where he worked for one of Perth's leading funeral companies for seven years before moving to Minlaton.
Christina was born and bred on Yorke Peninsula, she also has worked for one of Perth's leading funeral companies for nine years before moving to Minlaton with Iain.
Since buying the business they have upgraded their premises to exceed the standards required by the AFDA and Health Regulations.
Iain is a qualified Embalmer and also serves on one of the AFDA sub committees. He is actively involved in sport, is a committee member of the local progress association, and is on the board of an aged care facility.
